Destined For Greatness
Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved, a concept based on the belief that there is a fixed natural order to the cosmos. I am a great believer in the saying what will be, will be because in reality if we want something badly enough, we can make it happen, remembering the secret to happiness is not getting what you want but still wanting it once you have got it.
My own destiny is already mapped out after ruthlessly whipping out my old life, confessing my truth and forgiving myself for all my mistakes, then taking a big sheet of blank paper, ready to fill up with only the things I love that make me truly happy. This destiny is called the straight and the narrow which must be in focus always (meditation is the tool I use to retain this focus) because every time we veer off into a side road, it either keeps us stuck there miserable forever or ends in disaster always coming last in the race.
The straight and narrow is the hard road. It gives short term pain in exchange for long term gain, so every time you take your finger off the button of what you’re doing, to get you where you need to be in order to discover your true purpose and be happy, you are changing your own destiny. When preparation meets opportunity, you get luck, so always be ready and prepared, listening and learning, forever destined for greater things.
